L&L Hawaiian BBQ was an EASY pick to be my last meal of '08 (well, all the Filipino food I'm gonna be devouring tonight doesn't really count as "meals" just coz I'm soo used to 'em). From loco mocos, musubis and chicken katsus, this joint is the bomb fsho. Oh and have I mentioned L&L is Filipino-owned as well? Damn right it is.

Saying that I'm a sushi-person is an understatement. I will eat this s*** 3 times a day, 365 days a year for the rest of my life if had too. I took a break chompin' out at ma' 'shi-spot at Shogun Sushi and tried another place in Anaheim called SUSHI AT SUSHI. Never really figured out the meaning behind the name; never really had the time to ask the very nice owners... I was busy endulging myself, once again. Eeehh, decent food, decent place but pretty pricy though. Didn't matter. Still hit the ol' spot.

THE BEGINNING OF THE END

... this typically means finals week is just around the corner. Papers, presentations and those annoying group works are all done. I've worked my a** off this whole semester and all I could muster up (so far) is a single A, a couple of B's and a couple of C's. F*** that. To add more insult to injury, eating in campus had been a b**** as well. This tiny a** "titan" dog and 24 oz Pina Coll-Ada smoothie from JIU! costs 7 freakin' bucks. The smoothie is the bomb tho so its all good, i guess.

Black Fridays for me are typically spent at work. No shopping and spending whatsoever. Luckily this year, I was able to do some buying (for myself of course!) and got these black/purple half cab sneaks from vans. Wait time was a little over a week but hey, i got these suckers for a really good price.

HERE WE GO... AGAIN

All my life, I've been known to be notorious when it comes to RPG (Role Playing Games) video games. Trust me, I go waaaay back from the first Pokemon game in '97. WOW, right? Well what can I say.. I still feel the need to satisfy the inner "dork-geek-nerd" in me. Lately I found myself hooked, once again, to yet another RPG addiction - FINAL FANTASY IV for the DS. So far, I've probably spent around 5 hours.. (who am I kidding, I lost track already).. playing through the first few quests of the game. Geez... There goes my social life away...

Kanye West's "808s and Heartbreaks", which dropped today, is once again the number ONE album on iTunes (Yeah, nobody saw this coming). Considering that today was an off day for me (had nothing to do really), copping the album was definitely a priority. But I didn't. Why? ...



This is WHY. As part of a special christmas packaging, 808s and Heartbreaks will be re-released on DEC 16th with a new album cover art, featuring KAWS.
