Pronounced "ru-ka", this brand is closely associated with the infamous skateboard and surf culture (having their own skateboard and surf teams, yeah this is an understatement) and markets itself as an original combination of art, music, fashion and a modern lifestyle. THE YEEEZY AND WEEEZY SHOW

Finally. After almost a year of search and research... we have found a match. It's no secret that we've been wanting a dog since we moved to the new crib. Recently, it just so happened that my brother's classmate in his art class needed to give out a couple of pups (whoever you are, THANK YOU)... and now we have YEEEZY (the official mascot of U.L.A.M) and WEEEZY (the official mascot of untitled playlist). You know what's weird though is that there is something about these fellas that makes all of us "waste" countless hours doing nothing but stare at 'em... No, it's not the fact that they're the cutest pets in the world. Nor the fact that they're a lot better than TAMAGOTCHIs and NEOPETS. Maybe because finally, we all feel a sense of responsibility in the purest, simplest form of satisfaction.

Yes, YEEEZY (black) and WEEZY (brown aka UPS) are brothers. Much like their owners.

To all basketball fans, the loooong wait is almost over. More than being a laker fan, I AM A HUGE BASKETBALL FAN as well. With that said, I'm picking the Portland Trailblazers as my team for this season. Dibs. Why? I say "why not"? After this crazy offseason of trades and free agent signings, gone are the days of the "run and gun Suns" and the "we believe Warriors". Other than the Lakers, the Hornets and the Jazz are the apparent big boys in the yard that is called the west. The Blazers' youth, inexperience, talent and flare are what makes them the dark horse of the year. Can we say "NY Giants" of the NBA? You bet I can concur with that.

Upcoming hat company FITIZEN threw a launch party at Element last night and it was definitely a success to say the least. (What's even a bigger success was me drinking, driving, sleeping for 3 hours and surviving 8 hours at work. Not a surprise at all.) Anyways.. Good music, good company, decent group of "slaths" all equate to one good 'ol college thursday night. After that, we all hit up Tommy's in Hollywood to eat.

GONE IN 14 SECONDS

In case you haven't heard already, big bad KIMBO SLICE fell to, basically, a nobody in SETH PETRUZELLI in last night's EliteXC main event. Besides the fact that the match was done and over with in about 14 seconds, another FF (fun fact) is that Petruzelli was, literally, a last minute replacement for a more suitable kimbo opponent in KEN SHAMROCK. Honestly, when i saw Petruzelli walked out of that tunnel i was fuming, 'coz i wanted to see a once-in-a-lifetime Kimbo-Shamrock fight bad... but then again, seeing Kimbo's butt get whooped wasn't a bad sight either. Like I said before, that fool's OVERRATED.

WORD LIFE

At age 25, I think I can fairly say I have experienced a lot in life. Ups... downs... more downs - I've been there. Reading Kanye West's book, "THANK YOU AND YOU'RE WELCOME" was like putting my life into words. With this book, Kanye did reminded me that "life is naturally unfair... and I say that is a good thing 'coz it gives all of us equal chance to succeed".
