The Element of Surprise
Usually i'm pretty good at anticipating any surprises for me but this i had no clue. Well at least not 'til amy told me about it. Ha. Earlier today, my work fam threw me a post-grad potluck lunch - pretty awesome actually. There were a ton of food and i bet i gained at least 4 pounds as i munched throughout the day. Thanks you guys!

Banana-rama
After all the stress, sleepless nights and one fried brain from these past few weeks, a nice dinner with some of my closest friends was definitely one awesome treat. Mostly all of 'em live in the west covina-chino-walnut area that's why banana bay restaurant was a no-brainer choice for food, drinks and just some plain old good time. It was great catchin' up on things - a graduation.. a wedding in manila.. an unexpected exile.. a new crib.. a new love nest. Unlike other people, we don't have the luxury and time to see everyone on a frequest basis that's why nights like these are simply golden for us.

All Juiced Up
Part of living in California is dealing with the ever-changing climate conditions in this western region of the country. I mean, one day its cold then the next day its hot. No wonder people get "gnarly" sick here. Anyway, today was one of those warmer days so i decided to stop by jamba juice in la habra and get myself a nice cool treat. The orange dream machine drink (highly recommended btw) was amazing but the real treat there were the girls in line waiting. I'm no perv but being there with all those girls felt like i walked in a sorority chapter meeting or something.

Bake Sale
This is.. by far.. the best tasting cupcakes i've ever had. Ever. And if you haven't tried "Cupcakes by Abigail" then F you. A bit pricy though that's all - a dozen can cost you 25 b's.

Blogs are..
Pointless. Senseless. Stupid. I don't care what people say about 'em. They're awesome. At least i know that i am educated - that i can read and write.. make sense of the world we live in.. react and enjoy to the life i'm in.
Never knew this blog was gonna last this long. So here's to one year in the books for 'J'SEE?

Finals Weak
After all the hard (easy) work, sarifices (free time) and hours (minutes) i spent on school this semester, it all boils down to one final week. I don't expect to post much for the next week or so 'coz i'll be on "black-mamba-mode" to close this one up and pass all classes. Oh yeah.. and don't try to hard to find the connection betweek this post and the burger picture below 'coz there's none.

I Love Costco
If you're one of those kids that still live with parents (like i do), chances are "kirkland" is a "household" name you see on almost every single thing there is at the crib - paper towels, disposable cups and utensils, towels, white undershirts, etc. On top of all the good stuff, Costco food is just as good as it gets too.
Aaaahh oh yes - the infamous "Costco lunch". But i'm not talking about the bite-sized samples of prepacked tacos, wiener dogs and enchiladas that those old ladies serve for free. That sh*t is for the old, the retired and the grandpa. I'm talking about the goods sold outside. Pizza, hotdogs, churros, chicken bake - the menu goes on and on. Today i got the polish dog (smudged with ketchup, deli mustard, pickles and onions) plus a drink - all for $1.50.

Taco Friday
Not just on tuesdays. But then again, these aren't the real, authentic mexican tacos. More like those jokes served in del taco and taco bell. Geez i hate americanized stuff. Still good though - i had 5 pieces i think.

The Closer I Get To You
What a typical lakers-rocket game: kobe erupts for 40. Artest gets ejected for taunting. So on and so forth. Oh btw, lakers won 111-98 to even the series at 1-1. Whew.

Pacman Knows
In this family, a pacquiao fight is just another reason for relatives to hangout and enjoy the company (and food) of each other. We all share laughs and cheers, some ooohs and some aaahs with much pride as to who we really are. This night was no different than the others. The second round beat down of ricky hatton (omg, wow) was just a nice little spice for one fun night.

Just Winging It
Why do i think about birds? Eeehhh.. not really my thing. But what the heck - had to go help a friend out to buy a canary for her mom. Good thing we were just there for a good 20 minutes. Painless.
