GUILTY AS CHARGED

CALIFORNIANS BEWARE! As all of you may or should know, effective as of today, JULY 1, 2008, the legislation is implementing the HANDS-FREE LAW, which prohibits drivers from using a wireless phone while operating a motor vehicle, unless the driver uses a hands-free device, hence the law's name. Drivers who violate the law will face a fine of $20 for a first offense and $50 for each subsequent offense. Honestly, I guess its cool to have this 'coz its for our own safety anyway, but it will take a while before people get used to this. Definitely one of those hard-to-break bad habits.
