THE HUNDREDTH

As you may probably know by now, me and ma' crew love THE HUNDREDS. No surprise there, right? But one may ask why? Simple... because their innovation creates inspiration. Bobby, ben and co. started the brand with "absolutely no clue"... blah, blah you know their whole deal already. Five years later, here they are - on top of the world. Seriously.

In this blog's 100th episode, I figured what better material to put than - THE HUNDREDS! I ordered shirts online a few days ago, discounted of course, and it just so happened that these came in yesterday. What can I say... new semester, fresh threads. Originally me and bro are gonna rock the new U.L.A.M shirts at the beginning of this semester to get some sort of exposure but unfortunately there were bumps in the way and we still don't have the shirts printed. Yet. But still, watch out for it. Those should be in by the end of september.





I have really gone a long way with this blog. There were a lot of ups and downs all throughout the whole process, BUT at the end of the day... 100 episodes is no joke! So to all that have showed love and hate... THANK YOU.

THREE TIMES THE FUN

The Triple H New Era cap returns from Hall Of Fame, this time featuring a performance mesh upper. The cap comes in black, grey and black, features the Triple H 3D embroidery on the front and further details on the sides.

The pack will be released this coming Monday, September 1st at HALL OF FAME.

C's GET DEGREES

... is one theory in college life that I have firmly integrated in my own. It is true, no doubt about that. Some people say it means settling for less, setting the bar low. I don't see it that way though. For me, it is hard to prioritize school on top of all things especially if success in a financial career or fulfillment of my own dream (U.L.A.M) is here in front of me. So just to get by, C's are the best way to go. B's if I put a little more umph in it. A's if i get lucky... real lucky.

Today as CSUF's fall '08 semester begins, my own journey for that elusive diploma continues...

GOLD STANDARD

Nobody told 'em it was gonna be easy. Nobody told 'em it was gonna be impossible either. Today was the day of truth for team USA. The REDEEM TEAM recaptured the gold and the hearts of many, as they defeated Spain 118-107 in what is considered to be one of the greatest olympic basketball games of all time. Throughout the entire game, I've never felt more patriotic than ever. This game was more than being the best. It was about pride. It was about teamwork. But above all things, it was about REDEMPTION.

I can't believe summer's done. What's more unbelievable is that in a few days, school starts. And if you're like me who thinks that attending classes in college is the same as walking in a fashion ramp, then you better stock up with some fresh threads. 5 months ago, i was a man in need... OF A NEW TRUCK! Thanks to my good 'ol uncle george, one of the branch managers at TOYOTA LONGO hooked me up with a sweet '08 TACOMA and even a sweeter deal. Up to this day, i still thank him. GET WELL SOON DEAN. You are the definitely the man.







Dropped by today for my 5k service. That stupid maintenance light is sooo annoying.


It was either my pearl black, fully equipped TACOMA or this "bad-ass" TUNDRA for me... at the end of the day, 7 grand was a big difference.

BATTLE ROYALE!

Ladies and gents, here we are... THE FINAL TWO CREWS OF ABDC SEASON 2.

ROUND 1: "Around the World Challenge" - both crews danced to the same mastermix influenced by countries such as Jamaica, India and the Carribean. This one was all SUPER CR3W no doubt about that. SUPER CR3W 1-0 SOREAL CRU.




ROUND 2: "Dance Craze Challenge" - crews had to create their own beat, words and dance moves that represented who they truly are. This round pitted super cr3w's "S to the Chest" against soreal cru's "Smash It Up". SUPER CR3W 1-1 SOREAL CRU. Things are just heating up...








ROUND 3: "Battle Round" - rules are simple...battle the other crew with whatever it takes. SUPER CR3W stuck to their b-boy roots with some James Brown music while SOREAL CRU ripped it with their own version of lil wayne's a milli. This round was a toss up and could go either way honestly.
