EVERYBODY, SAY... CHASE!
Yep. The drama is finally over. JPMorgan Chase now owns Washington Mutual. Say "buyouts", "seizures" and "mergers" no more.

UNBREAK MY HEART
Top-ranked USC lost, 27-21, to the lowly Beavers of Oregon State. Just one of the many, many things today that reminded me how unfair life truly is...

OUR SPACE
Aside from questions like "What does U.L.A.M mean?" or "Where do you guys print at", the 3rd most commonly asked question about us would be "Do you guys have a website?" ... well the answer would be "No we don't". Well at least none yet for the mean time. BUT we do have a myspace page now. So feel free to add us up... www.myspace.com/undoingliesandmistakes

THANK YOU AND YOUR WELCOME
The launch of our fall '08 line was a success to say the least. The turnout for the event was more than what we expected, as we saw both familiar faces and random 'cats leave the premium label shop with some fresh U.L.A.M threads. To all that came thru for us in this unforgettable day...
WE THANK YOU .

UP FOR GRABS
For real.
A Sacramento State grad is trying to make money the old fashioned way, by auctioning off her virginity to help pay for her graduate studies. The 21-year-old who is using the pseudonym “Natalie Dylan” for safety reasons is going through a legal brothel in Nevada to sell her virginity. Dylan said she’s already taken a polygraph test to prove her virginal status, and is also willing to undergo a medical exam. The auction will take place at the Bunny Ranch in Carson City, Nevada with bids coming in through bunnyranch.com. Sweet. Check her out...

GET YOUR POPCORN READY
Football again? Maybe some of you are wondering why the heck for the third straight entry I have another football blog. What can I say - I LOVE FOOTBALL, ok? lol
Another MNF classic game featured the dark horse team from philly against america's darlings from dallas. After a hard fought encounter, the cowboys came on top beating the eagles 41-37. Superstar wide receiver T.O. dazzled the crowd with 89 yards and 2 tds.

GOT CHEATED ON, GOT LIED TO, GOT STOLEN FROM
What the efff... another heart-breaking loss for San Diego. The surprising loss against Carolina in week 1 was an acceptable upset. Losing star linebacker SHAWN MERRIMAN was a huge blow but inevitable nonetheless. But week 2's "loss" against Denver was... f*cked up. I get it. Sh*t happens. But in a league known to have integrity and excellence as its cornerstones, bad calls cannot happen like that. Not in a game where Ws and bragging rights are on the line. Not in a charger-bronco game.
The apparent "fumble" recovery by denver cornerback CHAMP BAILEY after a pass catch by san diego wide receiver CHRIS CHAMBERS in the first quarter was acceptable. The malfunctioning instant replay equipment wasn't. What's more messed up is JAY CUTLER's fumble, ooops... incomplete pass in the fourth quarter. Now that's adding insult to injury. Whatever...

BUCK EYED
The USC-Ohio State definitely lived up to the hype, eventhough the trojans were only the ones who showed up in this much awaited clash of the titans. Final score: Trojans 35, Buckeyes 3.
Mark Sanchez seized some of his critics with a heisman-like performance.
Hard hitter REY MAUALUGA, USC's all-american linebacker, had a breakout game including an interception-return for a touchdown that thrilled the 90,000 plus trojan fans.
FIGHT ON.

9-11
As you all by now, today marks the 7th year anniversary of 9-11. To some people, it's a harsh reminder of the infamous terrorist attacks here in the US. To some, it's a day to relive the lives and sacrifice of those who died that day. But earlier today, at LAX, a different kind of "attack" happened. This time around, it's not between the Al-Qaeda and Americans, but between the paparazzi and KANYE WEST. Yes, you heard me. KANYE WEST GOT ARRESTED EARLIER by the LAPD for causing a scene at the airport and smashing a camera in the process as well. Here's a clip captured by the ever present folks from tmz.

TURNED TABLES
The man behind the beats and mixes on every Shwayze concert finally gets his shot at fame. 22-year old DJ SKEET SKEET, Shwayze's infamous spinner, is seen as a regular character on mtv's buzzin' along with the band. This cool dude is definitely one special talent with a knack for a distinct style of mixes. His appreciation for pop and hip hop is outmatched only by his tastemaker knowledge of indie rock and electronica. So be on the lookout. He should be blowin' up anytime soon now.
Skeet's biggest break, by far, was being part of this summer's Warped Tour. He was one of the first DJ’s ever to be brought on board for the traditionally punk rock tour.
Check out Skeet's blog at...

MONDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
FACT: I breathe, sleep, eat and drink football. FICTION: Sunday games are better than monday nights. Here's why...
Big shoes to fill? No sweat. AARON RODGERS did quite well as he led the packers to a win over the vikings, 24-19, and delivered a "brett favre-esque" performance.
Denver wins big, 41-14, against the raiders. With the absence of breakout star brandon marshall due to suspensions, "royalty" is still present at the wide receiver position with rookie EDDIE ROYAL from virginia tech.

THE FISH BOWL, MY POOR TRUCK AND THE 405
For the past couple of months, I have not really gone out to bars or clubs to be honest. I dunno why. Mid life crisis? Ummm... no. Busy life? Most likely. But last night was definitely a night that I can't miss. It's one of our homeboy's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTON) so we thought what better way to do it than unleash him at that one place that never (ever) fails us... SHARKEEZ in huntington beach. Overall, it was a fun night until something happened. Can't say that here because of its "graphic nature" so just ask me personally. Or my brother. Or anton himself, IF he remembered anything. No homo talk here.
The scene of the crime
If anyone sees this guy in the streets, please feel free to pop him for me. He owes me big time.

NEVER TOO LATE
I've never spent more time in san diego than this past week. Last weekend, i partied with some friends at the gas lamp district and at the W hotel. Yesterday was strictly business as we hit up agenda. I guess its safe to say that I have mean ass sd hangover. Too bad I can't make it to this event. But still, if y'all are anywhere near this... just go. Well for me, i have exactly two hours to prep for this starting... now. Or maybe not.

WE GOT NEXT
When people from various walks of life from different places across the country share one cause in one common ground, you know that it's gonna be one special gathering. The AGENDA TRADE SHOW is a bi-annual forum where the most inspired, dedicated brands in streetwear and action sports subculture gather and showcase their upcoming products to both buyers and competitors alike. Me and my brother were lucky enough to be able to attend the event (thanks to the premium label crew) and now we can finally say that the first trade show experience for U.L.A.M is in the bag. Success for some brands out there can be traced from trade shows such as agenda but that's not always the case. Either way, one thing's for sure... we're NEXT.
U.L.A.M coming out soon. Real soon.
Soon after the madness of agenda, we decided to take advantage of our time there and check out some local shops in the area. San Diego's own 5&A DIME is one can't miss spot.
Right next door is the 5&A Dime x Rogue Status Pop-up store, which just opened 3 days ago. The store is stocked with the new Fall DTA line and the DGK x DTA collab tee right now, but we were told that the new Rogue Status line will be featured here soon as well.
