What the efff... another heart-breaking loss for San Diego. The surprising loss against Carolina in week 1 was an acceptable upset. Losing star linebacker SHAWN MERRIMAN was a huge blow but inevitable nonetheless. But week 2's "loss" against Denver was... f*cked up. I get it. Sh*t happens. But in a league known to have integrity and excellence as its cornerstones, bad calls cannot happen like that. Not in a game where Ws and bragging rights are on the line. Not in a charger-bronco game.
The apparent "fumble" recovery by denver cornerback CHAMP BAILEY after a pass catch by san diego wide receiver CHRIS CHAMBERS in the first quarter was acceptable. The malfunctioning instant replay equipment wasn't. What's more messed up is JAY CUTLER's fumble, ooops... incomplete pass in the fourth quarter. Now that's adding insult to injury. Whatever...
