Injuries to key players like Shawne Merriman, LT and Antonio Gates? Ouch. A sloppy 4-8 record after only two months of play? Ouch. An overrated (pass) defense? Ouch. All these, rolled into one ball of shame and disappointment after week 12? Major ouch. But hey, it all went away after, let's see.. umm.. The emergence of star running back Darren Sproles (below)? Oh yeah. The 52-21 drubbing (and revenge on) of rival Denver Broncos, along side the AFC west division title? Oh yeah. The team's current 5 game winning streak (and momentum) towards the divisional playoffs? F*ck yeah. Tonight's 26-21 win over the Colts wasn't a fluke, just so you know. Them Chargers are fo' reel.
