Thir-tween
There's really no such thing as a "national interns day" but we'll just let this one slide and not give him a hard time at all. To nikko, U.L.A.M's first (and only) official company intern.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you liked your present dude.

As Salty As It Gets
Even without karl malone in utah's lineup, the mail still got delivered. Too bad though, 'coz it said "utah sucks".
Down But Ain't Done Yet
One thing i hate even more than "saying goodbye" is when people say "all good things must come to an end". Whoever coined that expression - 'F' you.

In-N-Out
Mmmmm. Burgers sound so good right now. Oh wait.. i meant airport doors - kiko's been in and out of airports since he's been bouncing back and forth from here to sf. Geez.

Not as easy as cherry picking
As expected, matthew stafford (below) became this year's no. 1 overall pick, selected by the lions. Other than the out-of-this-world, are-you-kidding-me selection of speedy wideout darrius heyward-bey at no. 7 by the raiders, the rest of the draft turned out to be pretty normal one.

One Last Hoorah
Four more grueling weeks of group presentations, projects, term papers and, of course, the dreaded finals - all that's left for this one last semester of college (well technically, summer school doesn't count). Currently, i'm not really acing all 5 classes but at least i'm passing all of 'em so that should be good enough. Remember: "C's get degrees", right? ..right??
Anyways, since my schedule this semester had been crappy - 6 hours straight of non-stop college learning - i really don't have the luxury and time to eat a "real" lunch. So for 5 solid months, i've been dealing with just plain water and those yummy looking (but horrible tasting) triangle tuna sandwiches. Sounds healthy but trust me, it ain't hitting the spot. But for $2.15 a day during these tough times.. eeeehhh.. i'll take that deal.

Her Day
Today marks the 39th anniversary of "Earth Day", in case you didn't know (or cared at all). Instead of just sitting tight, waiting for your time to be up - do something to help the green cause. Recycle, segregate your trash, support the global warming legislation - do whatever you can to take action.

Home Cookin'
If you're a basketball fan, you probably know that teams who go up 2-0 in a seven game series had won 95% of the time. And that's great news to all laker fans as la held utah in check, 119-109 earlier tonight. As for jazz fans, not so much good news. But hey look at the bright side.. d-will's future looks uber promising after tonight's 35-point, 9-assist effort. Oh wait.. you already know that.

"Is it hot in here or is it just me?"
No it's seriously really hot in here. Blazing. Burning. Geez. Oh wait. Summer's almost here.
Oh i almost forgot.. happy 420 to all. So now tell me "how appropriate is this entry?" Huh?

"Freeze, b*tch!"
What is up with all these frozen yogurt places springing from ground up everywhere?? First it was the infamous pink berry. Then came yogurtland. Then some knockoff brands such as yogurt cafe and yogurt farm. And now there's berry sweet. At first glance, it surely does look like another bandwaggoner, yogurt place wannabe. But after seeing the place and actually trying out their stuff, i can say that this one's a gem. It's conveniently located within buena park mall, by the krikorian movie theatre at the back. Sounds like a perfect snack before or after those "hot" movie dates during the summer.

"Don't even think about it, BUY it!"
I've been an iphone user for over about a year now but (paid, not free) mobile games have never really caught my attention.. until now. For a low price of $2.99, prepare to get your hands dirty and spend countless hours of fun with (drum roll please) FIELDRUNNERS - a strategy-based tower defense game developed by subatomic studios for the iphone. You have no idea how addicting this game could be.. well unless your lame, weak or simply just a school-boy-b*tch then you won't really appreciate the intense realm of FR (thanks kiko for introducing me to this sucker). An iphone game must-have no doubt.
If you haven't noticed just quite yet, the blog title (once again) came from a movie that "we" know by heart. So if you know where it came from, your pretty awesome. Except you kiko.. coz i know you know this one buddy.

Playing for Keeps
Fact: Vegas equals fun, regardless of what time of the year you're there. Girls, alcohol, gambling, random hookups.. all part of the package that sin city offers.
Fiction: Vegas with family is weak. I thought so too before but once again (this ain't new) i was proven wrong. Definitely had a great time there even for just a few days.

Finally.. The Ego Has Landed
Much like the pre-LeBron era of pro basketball, anticipation and hype was there for the true king to be where he has to be.. and now, he's here. Today my grandpa aka "tatay" aka the godfather, the root of all that is liwag (mikko, kiko, nikko) is finally here. Took months of paperwork and a lot of dough to get him to come here but all was worth it once he took his first steps on foreign soil. Oh god, the next few weeks should be a whirlwind fersure.
Just kiddin' about the "ego" part though.. tatay doesn't even have one. I do - ha!

Ask And You Shall Receive
As a die hard charger fan, the sound of the infamous Jay Cutler being traded away to chicago and away from the afc west is sweet melody. Denver fans love cutler, no doubt. But all that fame and razzle-dazzle offense hasn't really brought them anything, or anywhere just to say the least. Now, QB6 is gone - get over it. The days of cutler being the heir-apparent to the thrones of elway and plummer are gone.
Oh and by the way, this ain't no april fools joke. Boo hoo.
